Many of you will choose our school because we are your local school, or because we are a Church school, or because you have heard good things about our school, which is wonderful! In many cases, this is due to our vision and our core Christian values that underpin everything we do in school:
As a Church of England School, we are inclusive to all and serve those of faith and no faith. However, we do need to reflect the fact that we are a Church of England School and that every child and family will experience a journey of spirituality throughout their time with us.
As such, our Vision needs to be rooted firmly in the Christian Bible.
Through our interactions, curriculum, enrichment opportunities, sporting fixtures, clubs, outings and charity work, we lift our children up every day, giving them individual and personal opportunities to reach their full potential and be the best they can be.
Our vision for education is aligned with Church of England Vision for Education.
Promoting education in schools, colleges and universities that allows children and young people to flourish in the widest sense.
I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness.
John 10:10
The Church of England vision for education is deeply Christian, with Jesus’ promise of ‘life in all its fullness’ at its heart. Their aim is to offer education that helps children flourish regardless of their background or starting point. In line with the Church of England’s role as the established Church, they seek the common good of the whole community.
