Reading at home
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Dr Seuss
Reading is a fundamental skill, so by listening to your child read as regularly as possible at home, this will help them develop fluency, pace and understanding, while reinforcing the skills they are learning in school.
Reading and sharing a range of different genre books with your child is also as equally as important.
